History

Members of the company performed together in various improvised troupes at The University of Kent

 until they formed The Noise Next Door professionally in 2007. They immediately began performing on the London comedy circuit and quickly built up steam, being put on bills alongside well established comedians such as Ed Byrne

In April 2008, The Noise Next Door became the first English improv troupe to attend the Fracas! Improv Festival

In May 2008 the company made their debut festival appearance at The Brighton Festival Fringe

, selling out shows at The Joogleberry Playhouse.

The Noise Next Door made their Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in 2008 with The Improphecy Chronicles, selling out over half of their shows and receiving multiple 4* reviews.

As of December 2008, The Noise Next Door began running their own self titled comedy night in Brighton, which runs the first Wednesday of every month.

In 2009, The Noise Next Door performed sell out shows at The Bath Comedy Festival, OxFringe, The Brighton Festival Fringe and at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, receiving multiple 5* reviews with their show Otherworld.
