However, it produced Evans' first number one country hit in its second single, the title track. "Fool, I'm a Woman" was released as the final single, peaking at number 32. The album was certified gold by the RIAA for American sales of 500,000 copies.
"Fool, I'm a Woman" was included as a track on the CMT Girls' Night Out compilation album a year later. Evans performed the song on the CMT Girls' Night Out special which featured harmony vocals provided by Martina McBride
