Election management

The election is managed and controlled by the Chief Electoral Officer, Justin Kamupala, who is also the Secretary of the Niue Department of Justice, Lands and Survey. .)

  • 21 April 2011 12pm: closing of nominations
  • 27 April 2011 12pm: closing for withdrawal of nominations
  • 29 April 2011: closing of registration and objection of names in the electoral roll
  • 7 May 2011: polling day

Results

There were four changes in membership: Three new members were elected on the common roll, with caretaker PM (and expected new PM) Toke Talagi
