Once he was able to drop his contract with A&M/Octone, Deuce signed with 10th Street Entertainment and Eleven Seven Music to release his first official solo album. To promote the project, Deuce released 14 solo songs from throughout his career, including the songs against Hollywood Undead and songs rapped over instrumentals, in an official EP titled Call Me Big Deuce in October 2011.

Deuce announced an intended 2011 release date for the album and stated that "America" would be the lead single with a music video being shot for the track. It was later announced that "Let's Get It Crackin'", which features Jeffree Star, would be the lead single and be released on November 28, 2011. "America" is now the second single, also set for release in 2011, and the third single is "Nobody Likes Me" with Ronnie Radke, set for a 2012 release date.
