History

Newbridge Silverware, formerly known as Newbridge Cutlery, was founded in 1933 as a cutlery manufacturer. The company faced hardship right through the 1940s and a trade depression resulted in 1952 which forced large staff reductions. The 1990s saw a major change for the cutlery manufacturer, as they introduced a line of silver-plated jewellery to the main store in Newbridge. Today the company manufacturers cutlery, jewellery and other giftware
