Aleksandrov started his basketball career with FMP Belgrade
and he stayed there until the summer of 2006. He then transferred to Crvena Zvezda
where he stayed for 3 seasons, before leaving in the summer of 2009. He signed with Union Olimpija
the summer of 2009.
After just a year in in Slovenia he left Union because of unpaid salary, so he signed with the Italian team Scavolini Pesaro.
