1820–1825. He was elected as an Adams candidate to the Nineteenth Congress (March 4, 1825 – March 3, 1827). After leaving Congress, he resumed the practice of law. He died in Farmington, New Hampshire in 1856 and was buried in Farmington Cemetery.
