. It is the only high school in the National Trail Local Schools district. Their mascot is the Blazers. The current principal is Robert (bob) Fischer. The school is also the leader of technology integration in the stat of OHIO.

National Trail High school was built in 1968. Average enrollment for this high school is around 400 students. NTHS is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), and the Cross County Conference (CCC) as their sports conference. NTHS offers football, soccer, cross country, volleyball, baseball, softball, track, basketball, and Golf.

The golf team plays their home matches at Highland Lake Golf Course.

National Trail's FFA chapter is nationally recognized.

National Trail is also known for itssteel band which is one of the largest in the country. They have a "Steel Band festival" once every year. Many famous steel panists have visited for the festival including Ray Holman
