The National Basketball Association Development League Impact Player of the Year is an annual NBA Development League
(NBADL) award given since the 2007–08 NBA Development League season. The league's head coaches determine the award by voting and it is usually presented to the honoree during the NBADL's playoffs. The award is presented to a player who joins an NBA D-League team after the start of the season and has a big impact as an in-season acquisition. The award's first winner was Morris Almond
