My Sister the Vampire is a series of vampire fiction novel

My Sister the Vampire presents the adventures of two identical twins, Olivia Abbott and Ivy Vega, who play central roles in the story. After Olivia's family moves to Franklin Grove, she meets Ivy Vega, a fashionable Goth teenager who is also a student at Franklin Grove Middle School. They discover that they are long-lost twin sisters, but Ivy isn't just a Goth - she's a vampire, and so are most of the Goths living in Franklin Grove. As the books go on, Olivia and Ivy find tears and laughter in breaking the news of each others' existence to their adoptive parents; never letting the vampire secret see the light of day; finding out how a vampire and human can be identical twins is possible; discovering who their biological parents are, but most of all, the importance of family and friendship bonding.
When Olivia Abbott moves to town, she's excited to join the cheerleading squad and make new friends. Then she meets Ivy Vega. At first, Ivy, pale and dressed all in black, looks like Olivia's opposite. Then the girls look beyond the glittery pink blush and thick black eyeliner to discover they're identical twins! Olivia befriends cheerleader Charlotte Brown but figures out if she wants to stay friends with her she can't stay friends with her sister. They switch by taking each other's identity and Olivia helps Ivy get a date with her long time crush Brendan Daniels. Ivy tries very hard to keep her secret but soon it slips out and Olivia finds out that Ivy is a vampire. At the end of the novel Olivia tells Sopia,Ivy's best friend that she knows the existence of vampire.
Olivia and Ivy are brimming with plans to switch places and pull every twin trick in the book. But Olivia soon discovers that Ivy's not who she thinks she is. Ivy's a vampire. And she's not the only one in town!

Suddenly Olivia and Jessica are in competition for the lead in a new vampire romance movie, opposite Jackson.
At the end Charlotte sends a tribute video which makes all of Jessica's fans hate her.
Olivia Abbott - A cheerful human bunny who loves pink and is a cheerleader on the Franklin Grove High School Squad, twin sister of Ivy Vega. She is Jackson Caulfield's girlfriend. She is also positive and looks on the good side of everything! Olivia knows about the existence of vampires, but passed the Vampire Roundtable initiation. In The Bat Pack she later lands a role as the main characters of one of her favorite books, "Eternal Sunset".
Brendan Daniels - Ivy's drop-dead gorgeous boyfriend, who is also a vampire.
Bethany Daniels - Brendan's feisty, loving little sister who loves to play with Ivy. She wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up like Olivia.
Charles Vega - Originally "Karl Lazar", Charles ran away from Transylvania to marry a human (the mother of the twins, Susannah Kendall of Andover) and changed his name to Charles Vega in order to conceal his identity of breaking two of the most important Laws of the Night. He is first thought to be Ivy's adopted father but discover he is their real farther.
Susannah Kendall - Ivy and Olivia's mom. She and her sister, Rebecca are twins just like Ivy and Olivia. Susannah died at age 34. She is just like Ivy. She rarely spent time with horses like Rebecca.
Jackson Caulfield - Hollywood teen heartthrob/sensation who starred in The Grove (movie), and Olivia's boyfriend, starting towards the end of Take Two, the fifth book in the series. He gets the role of the evil person in the production of Romeo and Juliet.
Audrey Abbott - Olivia's adoptive mother. Always trying to make Ivy feel at home when she's at their home.
Steve Abbott - Olivia's adoptive father. He's always willing to try new things.
Sophia Hewitt - Ivy's best, longest, and most trustworthy friend. She's also a vampire who's into photography, filming, and shooting. She is Georgia's biggest fan.
Camilla Edmunson - Olivia's best friend, who is obsessed with sci-fi books and comics.She is the director of the production of Romeo and Juliet.
Garrick Stephens - Ivy's enemy, who just so happens to be the leader of "The Beasts", a group of the lamest vampires at Franklin Grove.He gets the part of Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. He was found in a coffin one day which made Serena Star curious making her search for vampires.
Dylan Soyle, Kyle Glass, and Ricky Slitherman - Garrick Stephens annoying minions who'll do anything for their leader.
Charlotte Brown - The snobby cheer-leading captain of the Franklin Grove Devils Squad, who always seems to be jealous of Olivia and is Ivy's nemesis. She is also Ivy's next door neighbor. In Bat Pack she sends a tribute video about Jessica Phelps making all of her fans hate her.
Katie and Allison and Sahra - Charlotte's minions, and are Ivy's enemies but aren't that bothersome to Ivy like Charlotte.
Aunt Rebecca - Olivia and Ivy's aunt and their mother's (Susannah Kendall) twin sister. She now owns a ranch in Beldrake where she and Susannah, Ivy and Olivia's mother, use to spend the summer when they were younger. Rebecca's personality is very similar to Olivia's. She was better at handling the horses then Susannah. She is a vegetarian like Olivia.
Amy Teller - Jackson's agent. Famous quote "Jackson's going to make my hair all white", when in reality she gets it touched up every six weeks. She also knew about Jackson's and Olivia's relationship.
Lillian Margolis- Second assistant director on the movie "The Groves". Lillian is also a vampire. She later becomes Mr. Vega's girlfriend at the end of The Bat Pack.
