Reception

The game was expected to crash both at critical and commercial stages, but IGN said it wasn't too bad, stating that it is "simple and easy to follow"; reviewer Jack Devries's final opinion was that "If your school offers an SAT prep course, I would definitely recommend that over this title, but if you didn't plan on studying at all, then My SAT Coach is probably better than nothing." IGN gave it 6.5.

However, Knight-Nui offered an alternative opinion, saying "Games are to be FUN. SATs are to be DULL. Not a good match", adopting a new rating style to give it an 'F' mark.
