. MITS has 14 routes that originate in downtown Muncie and branch out approximately 4 miles in all directions. Some routes add buses during school hours to aid in shuttling of children. On-demand buses (MITSPlus) are available by request for disabled individuals who cannot utilize the mass-transit buses.
