Muhammadi, also known as Jamia Muhammadi Sharif, is a town of Bhawana City in Chiniot District
of Punjab

. It is located at left bank of the Chenab River
. The village is famous due to its religious background. It's the home of Mualana Muhammad Zakir, a well known saint, and politician. His son Maulana Muhammad Rahmat-ul-Allah also a politician, remain MNA and MPA. This village has a famous dar-ul-uloom which has produced many religious scholars.there is a big eid gah and hostels for the students.jamia milla high school for boys from 6-10 is present.and any foregner thief comes in the village to stole people,s buffalows or cows, he used to become blind . this village has ben named on the name of mian muhammadi jawan.who was blessed with a stick by his religious teacher . he was advised to travel in a particular direction and before sleeping buried the stick and in the morning if it grows then live there and preach islam.so mian muhammadi jawan travelled a lot and stick never grow at last he reached in a jungle (presently muhammadi shrif) he sleeped at night an buried the stick and it growed in the morning so he lived there and started preaching islam.his tomb is situated in main qaburstan of muhammadi sharif
