The company was officially founded on 6 April 1951. The first headquarter of the company was located on Suapa Road, Bangkok. One of the founders was Chulind Lamsam, Managing Director, along with business associates and high ranking officers in the government sector. The company served as a source of fund for the government sector. Also the company offered long-term savings. This helped in the efforts to develop economic, trade and industrial sectors of the country.
