In an interview, P.E.A.C.E stated he started rapping in his high school years in the mid to late eighties. One of his friend had told him that there was a guy that rapped just like him at the Good Life named Myka Nyne. Not believing his friend, he went to go check out Myka at The Good Life. P.E.A.C.E. waited around for a while but Myka didn't show up so then he got up on stage and performed for a bit and blew a few whigs back. With no luck at the Life, P.E.A.C.E. had to wait until the next Thursday night. When he returned, Myka was there and P.E.A.C.E. listened to him perform and somewhat agreed with his friend. They both had the fast rapping down but Myka had his own style. Aceyalone

 was there that night and had asked P.E.A.C.E. what his name was so he told him "Mtulazaji". Aceyalone then asked what his rap name was and he replied with "P.E.A.C.E."

To Whom It May Concern... is a 1991 alternative hip hop album by the Freestyle Fellowship, an improv collective out of the Los Angeles Project Blowed crew. It was only released on tape, but released on CD in 1999....

was a landmark album. Although it only contains a few songs where they all rap together, each individual rappers songs truly showcased each of their styles. P.E.A.C.E. had two songs on the album: Physical Form and For No Reason.

Film

P.E.A.C.E is featured in the award-winning documentary This Is the Life, chronicling the music movement that was birthed at The Good Life Cafe in South Central Los Angeles. The Good Life is the open-mic workshop where he first performed with Freestyle Fellowship in the early 1990s.
