Moving On is a British television series consisting of standalone contemporary dramas first shown on daytime BBC One
. Although originally broadcast in an early-afternoon slot, less than a month after the initial airing the first series was repeated to an evening audience. The first series of five episodes aired for one week in May 2009, and featured Sheila Hancock

. The reception was good enough for a second series to be commissioned, planned to comprise ten episodes. The second series was broadcast during a two week period beginning 1 November 2010.
