. Their first album sold double platinum and stayed in the official Finnish Album charts for 45 weeks. It contributed total three Top 10 hits in the Official Singles Chart. "Romeo ja Julia" is still to date their only single that has reached # 1 position in Finland. Second album "Soittorasia" was released in October 1996 and it sold gold before it was even released. By the end of the year, it had sold over the platinum limit. Hits such as "Prinssi" and "Flavio" were included in the album. Third album "3 Aste" got few good reviews, but it did not chart in the albums chart. Movetron decided to change their singing language to English and they also had a new member Chris Sanders and they released new single "VoodooMan". Still over the years it has become sort of Eurodance Classic in Finland and certainly many people know this song.
After the release of their 4th album "4th dimension" group decided to break up.
They started as a group again in 2007, and released a massive hit single "Ei kenenkään maa" which had lots of airplay in the stations and even reached # 9 in the official singles chart. Movetron was a finalist in the Finnish qualification of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with their song Cupido. This song also became a hit reaching # 15 in the singles chart. A compilation album called "Irtokarkkeja - Makeimmat hitit" was released in the spring of 2008 and it achieved sales over 17,000 copies, going gold.
Their 5th album "Ei kenenkään maa" was released October 2008 in Finland. It Peaked # 30 in official albums chart.
13.6.2011 Movetron Released new single "Lanteisiin" from the upcoming 6th studioalbum.
