Morris Township is bordered by Delmar Township to the north. It forms a U shape around the southern part of Duncan Township, bordering Duncan Township to the east, north and west. Bloss Township borders Morris Township's northeastern corner. Liberty Township
forms the eastern border. Lycoming County
is on the southern border and Elk Township
is on the western border.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.61% White, 0.15% African American, 0.46% Native American, 0.31% Asian, and 0.46% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.31% of the population.
There were 246 households out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples
living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.8% were non-families. 21.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 2.97.
In the township the population was spread out with 23.8% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 23.7% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 21.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
