. The village is located at the western end of the lake Hornindalsvatnet
along the river Eidselva. It is about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of Nordfjordeid
and about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of Lote. The population of Mogrenda (2009) was 286.
The highway passes just to the north of the village connecting Mogrenda to Nordfjordeid
to the west and Volda
to the north.
