Legal Issues

On October 17, 2011 at 3:40 in the morning, Musso was pulled over, failed to slow down for traffic cops, and charged with a DUI suspicion.
He was approached by the police who then smelled alcohol and proceeded to give him a field sobriety test and breathalyzer. Musso blew above the legal limit of .08. His bail was set at $5,000, but he was released on account of no outstanding warrants.

The Burbank City Attorney has charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, both of which are misdemeanors. The legal blood alcohol level in the US for a person over the age of 21 is 0.08 and it is unknown if Musso is being charged with underage drinking.
If he is convicted he could face six months in jail with upto a $1000 fine. He is due back in court December 9, 2011.
