Born in Sopot, Miroslav Manolov start his football career in the local club Metalik. He made his debut for the team in the Bulgarian third division

The next season he is given to the team from the Bulgarian B PFG, Conegliano, where he displays his ability to score. Manolov becomes Top goal scorer of second division for the 2005/2006 season with 19 goals in 26 matches. Besides that he wins the reward for best player in the championship.
