He defended his doctor’s dissertation at the same faculty in 1985. After completing his law studies he worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the SRBiH and in the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the SRBiH. From 30 January 1991 until 25 October 1993 he was holding the office of the Vice-President of the Government of the SRBiH and the Republic of BiH.
