by telling him she is heartsick after he sees Remudi, the traveler from Ibara, die playing the brutal games of Quillan. Later in the The Quillan Games, Bobby finds out that Nevva betrayed Quillan and the Travelers. Nevva's mother, Elli, then took her place as a Traveler. At the end of the book, however, it is made known that Nevva is actually the first (out of two so far, the other being Alexander Naymeer) Traveler to join Saint Dane

, including the power to shapeshift. She also seems to know the "true" nature of the travelers. Bobby now faces two enemies of the same power after the book ends.

The Pilgrims of Rayne

In the Pilgrims of Rayne, Nevva disguises herself as Telleo, a naive but kind doctor on Ibara who helps anyone, even the Jakills when they are injured. She seems to like things as they are on the island, not wishing the world to change. On First Earth, it is revealed that she saved Mark's parents from a plane crash in exchange for selling his invention, Forge, on First Earth, changing history. Telleo's identity is not revealed until the end of the book, when Saint Dane refers to Nevva as "Telleo".

Raven Rise

In Raven Rise, Nevva appears to Mark and demands his Traveler's ring. She threatens that if he does not, she will return to Second Earth and stop herself from saving Mark's parents from a plane crash. Mark, after thinking, reluctantly gives up his ring. When he does this however, Nevva seems disappointed. Why this unknown. Later, as a raven, she heals a dying boy and gives him the ring, changing history again and causing the Ravinian cult to be created.

Soldiers of Halla

In Soldiers of Halla, we learn that Nevva was the one that had the idea to exile the opposers of Ravinia instead of killing them. She sends them to Eelong because she wanted to keep one Territory 'clean'. She decides that Saint Dane is evil, and joins the travelers. But before she could escape, Saint Dane kills her. Her final words hold the information Bobby needed to save the territories and kill Saint Dane. If not for her, the demon would have won. Her spirit was killed, instead of going to Solara because of her joining Saint Dane. However, it is likely she was revived after Saint Dane's defeat, as the history of all territories were rewritten so that Saint Dane never interfered with them.

Alexander Naymeer

Alexander Naymeer first appears in Raven Rise as the main antagonist. Naymeer was originally chosen to be Bobby's mentor, but he became corrupted by Saint Dane, so the job went to Press. He is the leader of the cult Ravinia. Originally a child prodigy, he came extremely close to death at the age of seven. However, he was saved when Saint Dane gave him a Traveler ring stolen from Mark Dimond, healing him and allowing him to discover Halla. Due to Saint Dane's interference, he becomes the sadistic villain seen in Raven Rise, ultimately causing and then dying in the collapse of Yankee Stadium later deemed the "Bronx Massacre."

Veego and LaBerge

Veego and LaBerge are siblings, business partners, and the CEOs of the Quillan Games. They were originally from Veelox and were taken to Quillan by Mr. Kayto (Saint Dane

in disguise) after the incident on Veelox. They were taken to the other territories where they stole the ideas from the territories and "created" them on Quillan. The games included wippen from Eelong, spinney-do from Cloral, and the game from Zadaa involving knocking off pegs from your opponent. They also stole tang knives from Eelong and air bubbles from Cloral. This angered Bobby, though he realized they knew no better about mixing the territories. Bobby eventually lost Quillan

after the plan involving winning the Grand X backfired. Veego and LaBerge, to Bobby's horror, were immediately restored to their celebrity status while Quillan lay to waste. LaBerge loves to play games, and Veego loves the attention and money she makes from the games, so they make a good team.
Veego also appears in Raven Rise to be given the island of Ibara from the trustees.

Alder

Alder is a Bedoowan knight from the territory Denduron. He is the second Traveler that Bobby meets on his journey. Alder is described as clumsy (except during combat), but is also regarded as the kindest and most honorable of the Travelers. Over the course of the series, he becomes one of Bobby's best friends. In battle, Alder is a fierce warrior, and he is skilled in healing other Travelers. During the events of Raven Rise, he tries to leave Denduron (to return weapons used in the previous book) and discovers the Milagoo and Bedoowan have united and will use tak to destroy their enemys. He attempts to stop the combined nations, but is captured and sentenced to execution. Whilst in his jail cell, Bobby finds him and the two escape, heading for Second Earth. Later in The Soldiers of Halla, he and the other Travelers help Bobby defeat Saint Dane, and subsequently saving all of Halla.

Aja Killian

Aja Killian is the Traveler from Veelox. Aja was an orphan, raised in a group home that trained intelligent children to work to their full potential. She was adopted by Evangeline, one of the workers at the home, who she now calls her aunt and acolyte. The former traveler was Headmistress Nilssin, who was the headmistress of the school Aja attended. She was then promoted to what is called a "Senior Phader" on her territory. A "Senior Phader" is a person who helps control other people's "jumps" into a "Matrix

" like dreamworld called Lifelight. She is concerned about the fact that the people of her territory prefer the 'fantasy world' over reality. Her territory is crumbling because its inhabitants spend more time in this dreamworld instead of living in the real world. To destroy her territory's dependence on this dreamworld, Lifelight, she creates "The Reality Bug". This bug is a computer virus that makes Lifelight fantasies less than desirable, so that people may be encouraged to leave Lifelight and live their own lives. However, the bug works far too well, actually harming the people in Lifelight, creating the conflict in The Reality Bug

In The Pilgrims of Rayne, the other Travelers visit Veelox and Aja tells them that the Lifelight system is destroyed. After the people in Lifelight ran out of gloid, a food substitute, the people were dying in such mass numbers so quickly they were not even pulled from their fantasies. After facing this morbid reality, Aja comes up with a plan to save as many people as she could: she moved everybody to an island, which is known as Ibara. She plans to execute a pilgrimage once the population of Ibara is steady to repopulate and recivilize the original territory, Veelox. This pilgrimage she tries ultimately fails. Bobby Pendragon

Siry Remudi

Siry Remudi is the Traveler from the territory Ibara and the adopted son of Jen Remudi, who was the previous Traveler. He first appears in The Pilgrims of Rayne as a member of the rebellious group, the Jakills (the name comes from Aja Killian, the Traveler from Veelox), in the jungles of Ibara. Gradually, Bobby convinces Siry to accept himself as a Traveler, and they help lead a battle to gain the territory Ibara. However, Siry ends separated from Ibara when Bobby blows up Ibara's flume.  was more loving and caring with her allies. She was present in one of Bobby's flashbacks of his Uncle Press, where she appeared at a party with him. She was described as being incredibly beautiful and had kind eyes even though she did not speak (of course, Bobby had no idea at that time that she was a Traveler). In his flashback, Bobby surmised that she seemed to be Uncle Press's girlfriend. However, this was not confirmed.

In Merchant of Death, Osa appeared on Second Earth to give Mark Dimond his acolyte ring. She was later present when Bobby awoke in a hut in the Milago village. As Press had been captured, Osa

She told him information about the Travelers' roles and abilities, including the ability to hear all languages as their own and cause others to perceive their speech as their native language. Osa also showed Bobby the Milago mines, showing him the adverse conditions the Milago had to work in and the tyrannous dominance that the Bedoowan had imposed upon the Milago. Upon their exit of the mines, however, Osa, Loor, and Bobby were ambushed by a group of Bedoowan knights. During the fight with the Bedoowans, Osa was tragically shot full of arrows by Bedoowan sharpshooters and killed. Her daughter replaced her as the Traveler from Zadaa.

Benn Spader

Benn Spader was the penultimate traveler from Cloral. He was well-acquainted with Press, but met his demise when he was poisoned by Saint Dane. He had visited the city of Faar and was honored among its people, thus granting his son safe passage.

Seegen

Seegen was a klee (a sentient cat) and the Traveler from Eelong. He made a map from Leeandra to Black Water and was killed similarly to Spader's father, and with exactly the same poison. He was administered the poison by Saint Dane who was disguised as his acolyte, Yorn, and died upon his arrival from the flume on Second Earth. His daughter, Kasha, replaced him.

Jen Remudi

Remudi was the Traveler from the territory Ibara. He appeared briefly in The Quillan Games
