The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China (Chinese: 中华人民共和国交通运输部 Pinyin: Zhōnghuá Rénmín Gòng hé guó Jiāotōng Yùnshū Bù) is the government agency responsible for road, air and water transportation regulations. However, it is not in charge of the conventional railway transportation, which is administrated by the Ministry of Railways. It is a member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China

Despite the English name of its predecessor, the Ministry of Communications (MOC), the Ministry is not responsible for non-transport communications such as telecommunications, broadcasting, radio frequency and spectrum licenses or broadband communications (Internet). This ministry is in fact "the ministry of transportation" and its Chinese name "Jiāotōng Bù" is also literally "the ministry of transportation".
