School History

Milo Academy was founded in 1954 and was named after the nearby downstream town. When the school was founded, Milo was considered an official town, due to its U.S. Post Office. However, after the post office was permanently closed, Milo Adventist Academy's official address changed to Days Creek, another small town located nine miles West of campus. The boarding school campus spreads out on approximately 475 acres bordered by timber and the South Umpqua River.
