Mike Zonneveld (ˈmɑjk ˈzɔnəˌvɛɫt) (born October 27, 1980 in Leiden) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for NAC Breda
, mainly as a left back.
Zonneveld is a versatile left-footed player who can play as a left-back, left-winger or holding midfielder. He started his career at Ajax in their academy before moving on to Go Ahead Eagles
and NEC Nijmegen before joing NAC Breda
and then PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2007. In the summer of 2009, PSV has agreed to lend out Zonneveld to FC Groningen where he will play one year at a loan with an option to buy. He will replace Yevhen Levchenko
who has left the club.
In his first season with PSV he had to fill up the gap left by former-number 5 jersey wearer Michael Ball
. In the 2008–2009 season, with the signings of Bréchet
