Middle American News
Encyclopedia
Middle American News is a monthly paleoconservative newspaper published by the Middle American Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina, known for its anti-globalist stances and criticism of mass immigration.

Middle American news provides news and information primarliy about politics, often covering events and subjects that other news organizations do not cover in depth.
The paper often publishes roll call votes in the House and Senate on controversial legislation. Unlike many other "conservative" publications, Middle American News explores the nature of the social and political conflict in the U.S. between the broad middle classes and their rulers in academia, entertainment, and politics. Also unlike other right-of-center publications, Middle American News tends to side with the working classes on economic matters and often voices criticism of multinational corporations and their influence over national policy. Middle American News has also expressed strong opposition to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Its rhetoric is unusual for a right-of-center newspaper, frequently couching its criticism of government in terms sometimes used by the left, as in its references to the "ruling class" or "political elites." The paper is highly readable, obviously aimed at a large audience, and appears to adhere to professional journalistic standards. The paper does not endorse candidates for office, and does not appear to favor any particular party over another. It accept no advertising.
