He also made movies based on popular novels written by Yandamuri Veerendranath
and Malladi Venkata Krishnamurthy such as Sampoorna Premayanam and Jhansi Rani.
In spite of making huge profits and several popular movies enjoyed till today, he lost everything including his house by investing in automobile industry rather than film industry which brought name and fame along with wealth. He is currently living in a rented house at Hyderabad of Andhra Pradesh
