member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly
since September 2008, representing the electorate of Mount Lawley

of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly. Prior to State politics, Michael was involved with the City of Perth Council
as a Councillor from 1995 and was elected as Deputy Mayor for three terms. He retired from the City of Perth Council in early 2009. Between 1982 and 1987 Michael served as a Johannesburg City
Councillor.
