Michael Bormann is the first solo album by the German vocalist, Michael Bormann
. Unlike his previous releases with other groups, this self-titled solo release is filled with ballads that fit in the Adult Contemporary category and is a totally different direction than any other album featuring Bormann. This solo effort was done as a means to explore other musical styles outside the bands he was involved with at the time. It was re-released in 2009 with four extra songs. Bormann performas all the musical parts except for the keyboards, which was provided by ex-Jaded Heart keyboardist Chris Ivo.
