Michael "Tunes" Antunes is an American musician and actor best known as the saxophone player for John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band.

, in the film of the same name and this yielded them some hits. Antunes was the only member of the band to actually appear in the film as Wendell Newton, the saxophone player for the Cruisers. Antunes briefly reprised his role as Wendell Newton for the 1989 sequel, Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives!.
Antunes still performs with John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band to this day. He has also become a member of Ernie and the Automatics

Career
Michael Antunes began his professional career in 1972 when he became a founding member of John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, originally known as Beaver Brown.
