Information

The school was built in 1955. It is one of the first schools in the nation to win the Bronze Award for being a healthy school. Children from all over the Miami Metropolitan Area attend, the enrollment is 1,903 students for the 2009-2010 school year.

It has a magnet program, specializing in science and engineering, is sponsored by MAST Academy, and has an honors program. It is neighbored by a MDCPS Regional Building, which used to be an elementary school.

Tops:
Polo shirts, solid white or solid navy blue, must have sleeves. Must have school logo. Only jackets with solid colors allowed.

Shoes must firmly secure the heel of the foot, no sandals without backs.

The principal of Miami Springs Middle School is Javier Perez. Dr. Quigley has now retired. Mrs. Leticia Sherman has now retired. Mrs. Lisette Alves is the 7th grade assistant principal and Mr. Navarro is the administrator.
