Pre-sea courses

  • Pre-Sea Nautical Science – 2 years in the Academy and 1 year at Sea.
  • Pre-Sea Marine Engineering - 2 years in the Academy (Phase – I), 6 months at Sea (Phase-II), and 6 months in the Academy (Phase-III)
  • Bachelor of Maritime Science (Nautical) degree course – 2 years in the academy under National University (Simultaneously with the Pre-Sea Nautical Studies)
  • Bachelor of Maritime Science (Engineering) degree course – 2 years in the academy under National University (Simultaneously with the Pre-Sea Marine Engineering [Phase-I])

Basic training courses

  • Fire prevention and fire fighting (FRFF)
  • Personal survival techniques (PST)
  • Elementary first aid (EFA)
  • Personal safety and social responsibilities (PSSR)

Post sea courses

  • Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch (IMO Model course 7.03)- 4 Months.
  • Engineer Officer in charge of a Watch (IMO Model course 7.04) - 4 Months
