Due to the poor response toward their second album's
many co-writers, this album was written solely by the band members. Derek Sanders has stated that they tried to keep all the sounds live and organic during the recording process, including bringing in a real string section.
The album's 12 tracks were whittled down from an alleged 16-17 originally written songs. It was also announced that ILG
would be releasing the album.
The first song off the album "Oh Well, Oh Well" was streamed on Alt Press on July 27. The song was officially released on iTunes on August 1, 2011.
The second single, "When You See My Friends," was released on September 8, 2011.

Background and development
The album was written by the band during early 2011 at a beach house in Panacea, Florida.
