Maulana Al-Husaini was born in 1931. He is the elder son of Alam-ul-Aalam Maulana Qazi Syed Muzaffar Husain Al-Husaini who was the grand son of the last Qazi-ul-Quzaat (Islamic Chief Justice) Maulana Qazi Syed Bande Ali Al-Husaini. His forefathers were mostly Islamic clerics and throughout the period of two centuries they were holding the post of Qazi-ul-Quzaat in Banaras.

He has some notable efforts towards disseminating the Islamic education specially the teaching of Shia Theology.

One of the achievements made by him, is the re-establishment and rejuvenation of Jamia-e-Imania

 Banaras, in 1983, which was facing some setbacks and many unpleasant situations since past 30/40 years before that time.

Also he has taught and trained personally a large number of religious students and Islamic Scholars who are serving the people now around the world. So the title of "Ustaz-ul-Asatizah"(the teacher of teachers)belongs to him.

There are also some books written by him like "Khizr-e-Islam" (unpublished) "Tashnagan-e-Furat", "Aaeena-e-Hayat-e-Khumaini", "Jaan-e-Baqiyyatullah" (published).

He is also the founder of a religious / cultural / social organization Al-Iman Tahreek which was established by him in 1984 and it is a new form of two old religious organizations founded by his ancestors, named Anjuman-e-Tahzeeb-Al-Akhlaq and Tanzeem-Al-Shia.

He never accepts any kind of money from any one as a charge of religious services performed by him and living a very simple life.
