Most notability, Matthew co-founded, along with successful clean tech entrepreneurs Aaron Merlob and Peter Colarusso, and served as the Chief Marketing Officer at PACEhub, a federally-funded energy efficiency incubator. Matthew was also instrumental in Lestis Hydro, Wind, and Solar, a start-up focused on the development of power plants utilizing wind, run-of-river, and solar technology..

Matthew was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. He briefly attended Texas Christian University (TCU)'s Neely School of Business
