footballer. Hodgson was selected to the Qantas Wallabies squad in 2009 but sustained an injury in a non-cap match played against the Barbarians and was forced to return home. In 2005, Hodgson played for the Australia A and the Australia Sevens rugby sides.

In Super Rugby, Hodgson has played for both the NSW Waratahs and more recently, for the Western Force where he plays blindside flank.
