Matthew Ronald Brazier is a retired English
football midfielder.
, making his way through the clubs youth system, which produced a highly impressive crop of youngsters. The 1995-96 season saw him establish himself in the Premier League side. During his spell at the club he played in both the Premiership and Championship, he left in March 1998 for Fulham. He scored for the club on his debut in a match against Preston North End
, but struggled to make an impact in the side and was allowed to go on loan to Cardiff City, he successful spell on loan was enough to convince Cardiff to buy him permanently at the end of the 1998-99 season.
His first season at the club was inconsistent, it was not until the second season that he returned to regular form. The club was promoted twice during his spell producing a fine attacking side.
He moved back to London with Leyton Orient During the 2002 campaign, this was a difficult time for the player in a struggling team, his form in and out, and eventually in 2004 he left the club.
Brazier retired from football in June 2005.
