Her impressive physique as well as her extraordinary faculties as a rumba dancer will not be forgotten. She starred numerous Orol's films in the 1940s. After break her relationship with Orol, she passing the baton from her second husband, the Cuban director Ramón Pereda.

Her sensuous dancing can still be seen in movies such as La Reina del Mambo (1950), María Cristina (1951) and La Niña Popoff (1952), directed by Pereda. Among other films by her we have to mention: Noche de ronda (1942), Konga roja (1943, La mujer del puerto (1949), La Sinventura (1949), Una estrella y dos estrellados (1959), Las mil y una noches (1957), Teatro del crimen (1956), and Caña Brava (1964) among many others, including some in the "ranchero" gender.
