Marywood-Palm Valley School is a private, college-preparatory school located in Rancho Mirage, California
. The school was formed in 2005, when the Marywood Country Day and Palm Valley Schools merged. The Palm Valley School was formed in 1952, followed 26 years later by the Marywood School in 1978. The school currently serves all grades from Preschool through 12, with an average grade-level size of 40 students, and an average graduating class of 15 seniors. The schools, which were previously housed on two separate campuses, consolidated at the J. Blake Field campus, formerly the Palm Valley School campus, in 2008. The school's motto is "Paratus Vitae" which translates as "Prepared (for) Life".
