n writer and poet born in Tripoli. She received her undergraduate degree from the Department of Literature and Culture at al-Fateh University in 1987 and works currently in the field of translation with an emphasis on historical studies. Her works of prose and poetry have been published in Libyan and foreign newspapers and magazines. She currently works at the Old Cities Project in Tripoli Ms. Salama has a number of book titles to her credit including Dreams of a Captive Girl (Ahlam Tifla Sajin).
