Format

Printed issues tend to run to around 100 pages, which consist of:
  • News and features covering games industry and retailing
  • Special reports
  • The "Retail Biz" section, which produces retailer reviews (as opposed to consumer reviews) of games, lists release dates, and analyses prices and market movements both in the UK and internationally.
  • Classifieds
  • Full-page adverts (there are very few inline ads)

Unusually for a gaming publication, MCV's print editions sport traditional, newspaper-like page design.
