Boxing
Boxing, also called pugilism, is a combat sport in which two people fight each other using their fists. Boxing is supervised by a referee over a series of between one to three minute intervals called rounds...

.

De Mori briefly boxed as an amateur, taking 11 fights, and made his professional debut at age 22, racking up a 6–0–1 record (with 5 knockouts) until he was stopped in the 1st round of 6 by John Wyborn. De Mori took a year and a half off from boxing, returning to the ring with a new trainer in February 2006 to accumulate another 5 wins and 1 draw, with 5 more knockouts. In 2007 de Mori signed a three year deal with American promoter Don King. On 11 April 2008, in Auckland New Zealand, de Mori scored a one sided eight round unanimous decision over American Ed Mahone. Mahone, a former world title challenger, was a big favourite going into the fight. Mark has since won two fights in America both by knockout as a result of body blows.
