Marine BizTV, the global maritime TV channel was launched on 7 May 2007 in U.A.E in the presence of representatives from the maritime community across the globe. Being sector specific for the mariners and maritime world, the channel aims at being a single point of contact for all maritime activities and information worldwide. Marine BizTV caters as a medium to infotainment thereby tracking paths for business development to bestow a new vision into the maritime trade.

Marine BizTV operates through four different platforms namely Satellite TV (transmission through INSAT 2E), Web TV , ITV and Broadband TV.

Events

The latest event conducted by Marine BizTV is the 5th Marine BizTV International Maritime Awards, one of the highlights of ShipTek2011 which happened on 19 April 2011. In that event, ABS received Marine BizTV’s award of Best Classification Society. The occasion marks the second year the society received the award.
