Mariia Posa is a member of the Finland women's ice hockey national team. She plays also for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

She had three assists in the Bulldogs’ two-game sweep of WCHA opponent Ohio State on November 13 and 14. She assisted in the Bulldogs’ first two goals on the November 13 game (a 3-2 overtime win).
