Lavrinovics had a successful karate career, winning ten times Latvian champion titles an one time get a bronze medal of European championships of kyokushin karate at year 2005. He strted His debut in profesional kickboxing was in 2005 against Oskars Zonerfelds. He is trained by his father - Vladimirs Lavrinovics.On September 30, 2006 Lavrinovics won the WFCA Baltic champion title tournament by three winings over Kiril Pshonko (Lithuania), Sandris Tomsons (Latvia) and Alan Pšednij (Lithuania).
