Manteca High is known widely for its success in its football program. The Buffaloes are one of the winningest programs in the area and have won three sections titles since the beginning of the new millenium (2001, 2005, 2006). They also had the states longest winning streak (26) for a few months that stretched from October 21, 2005-October 19, 2007.
