History

There are no evidences to prove the existence of the village in the past but the school 'Marathi Mulanchi Shala' which is now a zila parishad shala was established in 1914. According to the elders in the village most of the people from the village were engaged in farming. The majority of population in the village consists of people from koli community. According to them the other communities came into the village afterwords. After independence also there was no drinking water facility in village till 1985. In 1985 the village got its own borewell and water supply system for water supplies. Previously the farmers from the village were dependent on traditional farming but after independence they have changed their
