Man of the People (web series)
Encyclopedia
Man of the People: is a weekly audio web series consisting of the fictional "found" tapes of a small-town mayor, secretly audiotaping his every political move.
Described as "The Office meets The Nixon Tapes," this episodic internet comedy — distributed Summer/Fall '08 via free audio podcast — echoes 2008's electoral season, following Woody Woodson as he drags the tiny hamlet of Daltonville into and out of a series of political minefields along his quixotic quest for re-election (and, of course, his place in history).
