and Hamrun were relegated from the Premier League
.St.Georges
and Gozo were promoted from Maltese Second Division
with the latter(Gozo) having won a promotion playoff against Gzira
to clinch promotion.Hamrun were champions and Mosta
were runners-up.Both teams were promoted to the Maltese Premier League
.Balzan
having just got relegated from Premier League
were once again relegated this time to the Maltese Second Division
alongside Gozo.
